One of Thailand's famous attractions is its white sandy beaches. Phuket, on the Andaman coast, is the most famous beach destination in Thailand, although it is also the most expensive. Samui is also popular, an island in the Gulf of Thailand. Other destinations include Hua Hin (2 hours by car from Bangkok), Krabi, Khao Lak, Pattaya, and Trang. At the beach, take some snokeling or scuba diving trips, enjoy fresh seafood, or just relax on the snow-white sand!
